Amsterdam

A beautiful city with amazing architecture. Even though we got lost many times around the canals and side streets, I love the way the Dutch travel round - cruising in their boats and cycling on the strange bikes they have.

Dorset

I've just come back from Dorset and had an amazing time, climbing coast cliffs from Lyme Regis to West Bay, paddled in Weymouth sea, and seeing the beautiful view from the top of Portland lighthouse.

Luckily the weather was good to me, so I managed to capture some good pics of the fantastic views.

I do love the countryside.

Art in Clay, Hatfield House

The campsite on Hatfield House grounds

I have just come back from Art in Clay as a volunteer. Helping at the 'Throw a Pot' tent, looking after the potters' stands and most importantly networking with all the lovely artists! I even got to camp on the grounds of Hatfield House which was fun.

The ceramics are inspirational and definately worth a look.

Grizzly Bear

I was sat bored one afternoon and so I got a lined notepad and decided to sketch a bear...and an unexpected image appeared on the page. I was very pleased with the result!

Architecture in Tenerife

Volcanic Tenerife

I was sitting on the roof pool terrace of the hotel in Tenerife I was staying at, and captured my amazing views by layering watercolour and black pen.

Tablet Drawing

I find drawing with my Kindle tablet adds an organised and sensitive style by the use of layers and opacity in tone.

Tablet Drawings of Wollaton Park

I have played around with a drawing app on my Kindle tablet, to capture Wollaton Park. This gives a different style to pen and paper.

Drawn in a very fine pen to capture intricate detail.
